Myth: Atheists are Fools who Say in their Heart 'There is no God' Oct 11th 2011, 15:00 Christians to love to quote a particular verse from Psalms: "The fool has said in his heart, there is no God." Sometimes I think this verse is so popular because it lets Christians call atheists "fools" and imagine that they can avoid taking responsibility for doing so. They are just quoting the Bible so it's not really them saying it, right? Even worse is the rest of the verse which they conveniently leave out - not because they don't agree with it, but I don't think they want to be caught saying it.
