It's often assumed that Christmas is a Christian holiday and therefore should only be celebrated by Christians. Non-Muslims don't celebrate Ramadan, right? It's true that Christmas has largely been a Christian religious holiday, but this has changed significantly over the years. Christmas has always included many elements borrowed from other religions and this has made it easy to transform Christmas in our modern, secular culture. There are thus many ways to celebrate Christmas without reference to Christianity or religion.
