Believers in an Active God Believe in an Inactive Government Jan 13th 2012, 08:00 A Gallup survey found a strong correlation between belief in an active God which has a plan for individuals and believing that the government shouldn't be too active in helping people. Thus it seems that if a person believes in an active, intervening god it's more likely they also believe that the size and power of human government should be small.
