Contradictions in Genesis on How God Created Birds Sep 17th 2011, 08:00 The first creation story in Genesis says that birds were created from "the waters." The second creation story in Genesis says that birds were created "out of the ground." It had already been established earlier in Genesis that the land had been separated from the waters, so these two Bible stories contradict each other.
