Do you think that acceptance of evolutionary theory contradicts theism and should make theism impossible or is belief in God compatible with accepting evolutionary theory? A majority of Americans say that you can accept evolution while believing in God; less than a third of Americans deny that you can believe both -- even though over a half of Americans actually do reject natural evolution. What do you think?
It's usually liberal and moderate believers who reject the idea that this is an either/or question and insist that it's possible to both accept evolution and believe in God. Curiously, almost half of those who say that God created humans in their present form actually agree that you can believe in God and accept evolution.
